Does Salah Mate work with US payment processors?
Yes. We integrate with Stripe, which is the standard payment processor for US nonprofits and mosques. Funds are deposited directly into your mosque's bank account, typically within 2 business days.
Is Salah Mate suitable for 501(c)(3) mosques and Islamic centers?
Absolutely. Many of our US users are 501(c)(3) registered organizations. Salah Mate provides donation records that can be used for tax-deductible receipt generation. We do not generate IRS forms directly, but your accountant can use our exports.
Can the kiosk collect donations for Zakat, Fitrana, and general Sadaqah separately?
Yes. You can create unlimited donation categories — Zakat ul-Mal, Fitrana, Masjid Fund, Education Fund, Food Bank, and any custom fund your mosque runs. Each is tracked separately in the dashboard.
What states are US mosques using Salah Mate in?
We have mosque users across Texas, Michigan, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, and more. The platform works nationwide and supports all US time zones with automatic DST handling.
Is there any cost at all?
No. The platform is completely free — registration, kiosk app, TV display, management dashboard, all features. Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply as they would with any payment processor, but those go to Stripe, not to us.
